Short version: this site has no contact form, no login and no advertising cookies. The only personal data that reaches the controller is what you send deliberately, by booking a call or sending an email.

What is processed, and why

Visiting the site

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Serving a page necessarily processes your IP address and browser details, which Cloudflare handles as part of delivering and protecting the site. Visitor statistics use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, stores no identifiers, and does not track you across sites. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Booking a call

The booking button opens Calendly, operated by Calendly LLC in the United States. If you book, you give Calendly your name, email address, chosen time and anything you type into their form, and the controller receives the same. Used only to hold and prepare for that call. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Sending an email

Email to hello@venteras.com is handled by Microsoft 365. Your address and the content of your message are processed to reply and to keep a record of the correspondence. Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or pre-contractual steps where you are asking about the service.

Search Console

Google Search Console is used to confirm the site is indexed and not broken. It reports aggregate search statistics and does not give the controller personal data about individual visitors.

Who else touches your data

• Cloudflare, Inc. Hosting, security and cookieless analytics.
• Calendly LLC. Scheduling, only if you book.
• Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. Email.
• Google Ireland Ltd. Search Console, aggregate data only.

None of them are given your data to use for their own marketing.

Transfers outside the EEA

Cloudflare and Calendly are United States companies and may process data outside the EEA. Both operate under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. If you would rather not use a US scheduling service, email instead of booking and no data reaches Calendly.

How long it is kept

• Booking records and correspondence: while there is an active conversation, and up to 24 months afterwards, so context is not lost if you come back.
• Analytics: aggregate only, retained by Cloudflare on their schedule, and not tied to you.
• Anything relating to a signed engagement: as long as Slovenian accounting and tax law requires.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@venteras.com and it will be handled within a month.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec), Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, or to the supervisory authority where you live.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect against automated abuse, which does not require consent. Calendly sets its own cookies once you open their booking page, governed by their privacy policy rather than this one.

Changes

If the site starts doing something new, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
